External Balancing Heads

Elaso balancing heads are quality products for dynamically balancing rotating grinding wheels. The balancing head is the crucial basic element of a dynamic balancing system. Elaso's balancing heads are known for a sound and robust design and will function reliably during a very long life span. Internally two weights are moved radially by small electric motors according to the controller's instructions until the vibration (unbalance) is reduced to the set parameters.
External balancing heads are mounted to the grinding spindle end with adapter flanges. Wire-bound and no-contact collectors in various sizes transmit the power and control signals reliably to the rotating balancing heads.

Internal Balancing Heads

The spindle internal balancing heads are of the same Elaso quality like the external heads and are mounted within the hollow grinding spindle. These balancing heads are normally installed at the grinder manufacturer since a hollow spindle is required. As with the external heads, many balancing head types and balancing masses are available to fit a particular machine. Wire-bound and no-contact collectors in various sizes transmit the power and control signals reliably to the rotating balancing heads.
